利未記 (Leviticus) 10:8-11
10:8 耶和華曉諭亞倫說：Then the LORD said to Aaron,
10:9 “你和你兒子進會幕的時候，清酒、濃酒都不可喝，免得你們死亡；這要作你們世世代代永遠的定例。”You and your sons are not to drink wine or other fermented drink whenever you go into the Tent of Meeting, or you will die. This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.
10:10 使你們可以將聖的、俗的、潔凈的、不潔凈的，分別出來。You must distinguish between the holy and the common, between the unclean and the clean,
10:11 又使你們可以將耶和華借摩西曉諭以色列人的一切律例，教訓他們。”and you must teach the Israelites all the decrees the LORD has given them through Moses.”

路 Luke 10:38-42
10:38 他們走路的時候，耶穌進了一個村莊。有一個女人，名叫馬大，接他到自己家裡。As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him.
10:39 她有一個妹子，名叫馬利亞，在耶穌腳前坐着聽他的道。She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.
10:40 馬大伺候的事多，心裡忙亂，就進前來，說：“主啊，我的妹子留下我一個人伺候，你不在意嗎？請吩咐她來幫助我。”But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
10:41 耶穌回答說：“馬大！馬大！你為許多的事思慮煩擾；”Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things,
10:42 但是不可少的只有一件；馬利亞已經選擇那上好的福分，是不能奪去的。”but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
約 John 12:1-7
12:1 逾越節前六日，耶穌來到伯大尼，就是他叫拉撒路從死里復活之處。Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
12:2 有人在那裡給耶穌預備筵席；馬大伺候，拉撒路也在那同耶穌坐席的人中。Here a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him.
12:3 馬利亞就拿着一斤極貴的真哪噠香膏，抹耶穌的腳，又用自己頭髮去擦；屋裡就滿了膏的香氣。Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
12:4 有一個門徒，就是那將要賣耶穌的加略人猶大，But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected,
12:5 說：“這香膏為什麼不賣三十兩銀子周濟窮人呢？”Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages. ”
12:6 他說這話，並不是挂念窮人，乃因他是個賊，又帶着錢囊，常取其中所存的。He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.
12:7 耶穌說：“由她吧，她是為我安葬之日存留的。”Leave her alone,” Jesus replied. “It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial.
可 Mark 14:9
14:9 我實在告訴你們，普天之下，無論在什麼地方傳這福音，也要述說這女人所作的，以為記念。”I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

腓立比書 Philippians 3:7-14
3:7 只是我先前以為與我有益的，我現在因基督都當作有損的。But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.
3:8 不但如此，我也將萬事當作有損的，因我以認識我主基督耶穌為至寶。我為他已經丟棄萬事，看作糞土，為要得着基督；What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ
3:9 並且得以在他裡面，不是有自己因律法而得的義，乃是有信基督的義，就是因信　神而來的義，and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ–the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.
3:10 使我認識基督，曉得他復活的大能，並且曉得和他一同受苦，效法他的死，I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
3:11 或者我也得以從死里復活。and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. (Pressing on Toward the Goal )
3:12 這不是說我已經得着了，已經完全了，我乃是竭力追求，或者可以得着耶穌基督所以得着我的(“所以得着我的”或作“所要我得的”)。
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
3:13 弟兄們，我不是以為自己已經得着了，我只有一件事，就是忘記背後，努力面前的，Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
3:14 向著標竿直跑，要得　神在基督耶穌里從上面召我來得的獎賞。I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

以弗所書 3:14-21
3:14 因此，我在父面前屈膝，For this reason I kneel before the Father,
3:15 (天上地上的各(或作“全”)家，都是從他得名。) from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
3:16 求他按着他豐盛的榮耀，藉着他的靈，叫你們心裡的力量剛強起來，I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
3:17 使基督因你們的信，住在你們心裡，叫你們的愛心，有根有基，so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
3:18 能以和眾聖徒一同明白基督的愛，是何等長闊高深，may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
3:19 並知道這愛是過於人所能測度的，便叫　神一切所充滿的，充滿了你們。and to know this love that surpasses knowledge–that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
3:20 神能照着運行在我們心裡的大力，充充足足地成就一切，超過我們所求所想的。Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
3:21 但願他在教會中，並在基督耶穌里，得着榮耀，直到世世代代，永永遠遠。阿們！to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

羅馬書 Romans 9:8-9
9:8 這就是說，肉身所生的兒女不是　神的兒女，惟獨那應許的兒女才算是後裔。In other words, it is not the natural children who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.
9:9 因為所應許的話是這樣說：“到明年這時候我要來，撒拉必生一個兒子。”For this was how the promise was stated: “At the appointed time I will return, and Sarah will have a son.”

提 摩 太 後 書 2 Timothy 2:20-22
2:20 在大戶人家，不但有金器銀器，也有木器瓦器；有作為貴重的，有作為卑賤的。But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
2:21 人若自潔，脫離卑賤的事，就必作貴重的器皿，成為聖潔，合乎主用，預備行各樣的善事。If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
2:22 你要逃避少年的私慾，同那清心禱告主的人追求公義、信德、仁愛、和平。Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

以弗所書5:20-33

5:22 你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，如同順服主；Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.

5:23 因為丈夫是妻子的頭，如同基督是教會的頭；他又是教會全體的救主。For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.

5:24 教會怎樣順服基督，妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫。Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

5:25 你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子；正如基督愛教會，為教會舍己，Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

5:26 要用水藉着道把教會洗凈，成為聖潔， to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,

5:27 可以獻給自己，作個榮耀的教會，毫無玷污、皺紋等類的病，乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

5:28 丈夫也當照樣愛妻子，如同愛自己的身子；愛妻子便是愛自己了。In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

5:29 從來沒有人恨惡自己的身子，總是保養顧惜，正象基督待教會一樣，After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church–

5:30 因我們是他身上的肢體(有古卷在此有“就是他的骨他的肉”)。for we are members of his body.

5:31 為這個緣故，人要離開父母，與妻子連合，二人成為一體。 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”

5:32 這是極大的奧秘，但我是指着基督和教會說的。This is a profound mystery–but I am talking about Christ and the church.

5:33 然而你們各人都當愛妻子，如同愛自己一樣。妻子也當敬重她的丈夫。However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
