雅各書 1:1-12

马太福音 Matthew 21:18-19

21:18 早晨回城的时候，他饿了，21:19 看见路旁有一棵无花果树，就走到跟前，在树上找不着什么，不过有叶子，就对树说：从今以后，你永不结果子。那无花果树就立刻枯干了。(21:18 Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. 21:19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.)

腓立比书 Philippians 2:1-11
2:1 所以在基督里若有什么劝勉，爱心有什么安慰，圣灵有什么交通，心中有什么慈悲怜悯，
2:2 你们就要意念相同，爱心相同，有一样的心思，有一样的意念，使我的喜乐可以满足。
2:3 凡事不可结党，不可贪图虚浮的荣耀；只要存心谦卑，各人看别人比自己强。
2:4 各人不要单顾自己的事，也要顾别人的事。
2:5 你们当以基督耶稣的心为心。
2:6 他本有　神的形象，不以自己与　神同等为强夺的；
2:7 反倒虚己，取了奴仆的形象，成为人的样式；
2:8 既有人的样子，就自己卑微，存心顺服，以至于死，且死在十字架上。
2:9 所以　神将他升为至高，又赐给他那超乎万名之上的名，
2:10 叫一切在天上的，地上的，和地底下的，因耶稣的名，无不屈膝，
2:11 无不口称耶稣基督为主，使荣耀归与父　神。

2:1 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,
2:2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
2:4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
2:5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
2:6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
2:7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death– even death on a cross!
2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
2:11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Shining as Stars )

传道书 1:2-8，12:8-14
1:2 传道者说：虚空的虚空，虚空的虚空，凡事都是虚空。”Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless.”
1:3 人一切的劳碌，就是他在日光之下的劳碌，有什么益处呢？What does man gain from all his labor at which he toils under the sun?
1:4 一代过去，一代又来，地却永远长存。Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.
1:5 日头出来，日头落下，急归所出之地。The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises.
1:6 风往南刮，又向北转，不住地旋转，而且返回转行原道。The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course.
1:7 江河都往海里流，海却不满；江河从何处流，仍归还何处。All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again.
1:8 万事令人厌烦(或作“万物满有困乏”)，人不能说尽。眼看，看不饱；耳听，听不足。All things are wearisome, more than one can say. The eye never has enough of seeing, nor the ear its fill of hearing.
12:8 传道者说：“虚空的虚空，凡事都是虚空。””Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Everything is meaningless!” ( The Conclusion of the Matter )
12:9 再者，传道者因有智慧，仍将知识教训众人；又默想，又考查，又陈说许多箴言。Not only was the Teacher wise, but also he imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs.
12:10 传道者专心寻求可喜悦的言语，是凭正直写的诚实话。The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true.
12:11 智慧人的言语，好象刺棍；会中之师的言语，又象钉稳的钉子，都是一个牧者所赐的。The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails-given by one Shepherd.
12:12 我儿，还有一层，你当受劝戒：著书多，没有穷尽；读书多，身体疲倦。Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.
12:13 这些事都已听见了。总意就是敬畏　神，谨守他的诫命，这是人所当尽的本分(或作“这是众人的本分”)。Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
12:14 因为人所作的事，连一切隐藏的事，无论是善是恶，　神都必审问。For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

腓立比书 Philippians 1:3-11
1:3 我每逢想念你们，就感谢我的神；I thank my God every time I remember you.
1:4 (每逢为你们众人祈求的时候，常是欢欢喜喜地祈求。)In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy
1:5 因为从头一天直到如今，你们是同心合意地兴旺福音。because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,
1:6 我深信那在你们心里动了善工的，必成全这工，直到耶稣基督的日子。being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
1:7 我为你们众人有这样的意念，原是应当的；因你们常在我心里，无论我是在捆锁之中，是辩明证实福音的时候，你们都与我一同得恩。It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart; for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me.
1:8 我体会基督耶稣的心肠，切切地想念你们众人，这是　神可以给我作见证的。God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.
1:9 我所祷告的，就是要你们的爱心，在知识和各样见识上，多而又多，And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,
1:10 使你们能分别是非(或作“喜爱那美好的事”)，作诚实无过的人，直到基督的日子；so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ,
1:11 并靠着耶稣基督结满了仁义的果子，叫荣耀称赞归与神。filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ–to the glory and praise of God. (Paul’s Chains Advance the Gospel )

马太福音 Matthew. 5:13-16
5:13 “你们是世上的盐。盐若失了味，怎能叫它再咸呢？以后无用，不过丢在外面，被人践踏了。You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
5:14 你们是世上的光。城造在山上，是不能隐藏的。You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
5:15 人点灯，不放在斗底下，是放在灯台上，就照亮一家的人。Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
5:16 你们的光也当这样照在人前，叫他们看见你们的好行为，便将荣耀归给你们在天上的父。In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. (The Fulfillment of the Law )
